The game was more difficult than it could have been. Really we should have capitalised on our complete dominance in the first 25 mins. We let Carlisle in to the game but they didn’t look threatening until the 2nd half. Carlisle has to push on and had nothing to lose so not surprising they had chances.

Game demonstrated again how important Erahon is. Credit to Wright who made a handful of good saves.

Well, what a fantastic result. With Lucas getting injured in the warm up, I feared the change would upset the apple cart. No idea how the game has gone, but it sounds pretty much business as usual albight a bit of squeaky bum when they pulled one back. A bit of real daylight between us and Stevenage/Blackpool too which is a bonus. Onto the Royals and the next cup final then. UTI

We needed to win this one as it keeps the pressure on Oxford and they are closely getting to the position where they will have to win the game on 16th April. Onwards to Reading.
