Tonight's game will be tough, but should at least be a less agricultural watch than Saturday's match thanks to the opposition.

Burton are as good as safe so just perhaps they will take their foot off the gas a little. Here's hoping

Full programme in L1 tonight which should make the endgame a bit clearer come 10pm.
All of the play off chasing teams are away. (I've discounted Hull and Posh from PO's as they will almost certainly be the 2 autos now)

Burton's record under Jimmy-Floyd Riverbaink has been outstanding, especially considering he took over a squad that was ageing badly and heading for relegation. They had 13 points from 21 games when he arrived, but since then:

P20 W12 D3 L5 Pts39 PPG: 1.95

Over a full season, that would probably mean automatic promotion.

Having said that, they have won only one of their last four home games, so perhaps it is levelling off.

Nearly forgot to post the full L1 fixture list:

Interesting that some have kept to the 745ko's including Hull who will know ours and Blackpool's results come their second halves

Too right so they will know they have wait a tad longer for promotion as we will tonight and then again on Saturday of course when we beat them as well. We are imps

Lincoln and Hull are two high-scoring teams - 92 to Lincoln and 88 to Hull - but there have been only two goals between them so far this season. What chance another 0-0 on Saturday?

Lincoln will certainly not want Hull winning promotion at SB, especially since they would have been right up there with them without the two COVID and multiple injury crises.

We would have beaten them when our first game was postponed due to covid in their camp

Hopefully we can play well and get a result but I really don't think this is going to be like the first game!

The last 3 games where we've picked up points I've not had my usual beer. Seeing as we're playing the Brewers tonight, should I forgo one again?

Hoping they've taken their foot off the gas as they've nothing to play for now, fingers crossed.
Shrewsbury should be similar next week hopefully...
