The Game
I see that the Premier League which is supposed to be run by all the Clubs but is still being led by the nose by JoMU, Arse and Liverpool™ failed, to discuss new rules on profit and sustainability another ploy to restrict City and to try and get the status quo back in the dark ages when the Sky 4(3 really) and they will succeed with the sheep following what they are told to do.
Bogey team Everton are the visitors with Moanalot Sean Dyche at the helm of this unfairly punished side by a failure to comply with the FFP rules, normally when a guilty plea is made the sentence is normally less because they have not wasted the courts time and on top of that, they have a credible mitigation and to slap them with punishment which is worse that if they had gone into administration is indicative of this vindictive Premier League leadership.
Everton are depleted in 4 of their squad are very doubtful and Everton linger in the bottom half of the League but this is a false position as they have been docked those 10 points and are in the process of appealing this punishment and it may well be that they are successful which will push them back up the table.

Team News
Zak Steffen and Kalvin Phillips have now departed to other teams and Pep is stuck with a full squad to choose from, a nightmare.

Best Guess
Ederson
Walker, Stones, Ake, Gvardiol
De Bruyne, Rodri, Foden
Bernardo, Haaland, Alvarez

Expect all the talk in the media build up to be focused on Everton's punishment and the effort to get as many mentions of "115 Charges" in as possible into any copy or broadcast. The assumption will be made that City are guilty purely because of the sheer scale of the charges irrespective of any evidence.

We should win this at home with a clean sheet. For what it is worth I think the Everton appeal will fail and they will go down this season.

without a shadow of a doubt, but Everton are the fall guys imo

We were up last in the previous weekend fixtures…….this weekend we are up first. Let’s take advantage of the opportunity to control the narrative with the three points.

(Sweepstake Question…..how far into the TNT coverage will we get BEFORE the “City facing 155 charges” gets mentioned?

a) Opening sentence
b) Second sentence
c) It doesn’t matter - it will get mentioned every other sentence throughout the coverage, at half time, in the post match interviews and pundit ‘analysis’)

I don’t have TNT so I’ll be spared.
Full match replay from the city app when it is uploaded.
👍

You forgot the cost of the squad and City are ruining Footie by winning everything.

TEAM NEWS 📰

CITY XI: Ederson, Stones, Akanji, Dias (C), Ake, Rodrigo, Nunes, Foden, Alvarez, Doku, Haaland
Subs: Ortega Moreno, Walker, Grealish, De Bruyne, Bernardo, Gvardiol, Bobb, Wright, Lewis

Red Kev must have come up sore, maybe he will come on if we need him. Pleased Nunes starting, would not have expected VS Everton.

I think Kevin is still being eased back in very gently and this isn’t a top six side so makes sense to me not to risk him.
