Manchester City Ranked Fifth In Europe

Manchester City FC has been rated, in value terms by Forbes, Europe's fifth most valuable football team.

As one would expect, Real Madrid are way out in the lead.

Interestingly, (including City) there are eight other Premier League teams within the top 20.

Premier League clubs are going to share more than £8.3 billion for the new broadcast contracts.

By all accounts only a few minor deals have yet to be concluded for the 2016-19 seasons, which will witness a staggering increase in revenues at Premier League clubs.

The new set of contracts mean a 50 per cent surge in their broadcast incomes from a combined £5.5bn in the existing deal.

a long long way behind the top three. However we are still growing and from 2008 to 2015 in 7 years the Club Owners have brought us this far and still rising.

Most valuable team or club?

Fifth most valuable football team.

Is this with Mangala, Otomendi and Sterling valued at/costing a combined £119m (give or take a million here or there).

Could have bought someone useful from Barca or Bayern to keep Aguero company up front plus Reid from West Ham to shore up the defence and still have had something left over for a rainy day at the January sales.

Hate to think how much the Sky subscription charges will go up by, unless the slack will be picked up by advertising.

We'll end up paying more for both Sky and BT :017: supply and demand I guess.
