Fish and Chips for dinner soon.
 
Superb fish and chips in the Dolphin at Hastings. Got in dead on opening time at 12. Yummy.

Then a pint of prawns eaten on the beach.

For a "Metropolitan Elite" I felt almost working class.:grinning:
 
I’m firing up the bbq in about 20 minutes, so lunch will be drumsticks, burgers, bangers, homemade kebabs, salad, potato salad. Washed down with a beer or two whilst cooking.

Cannon of English Lamb stuffed with Wild Woodland Mushrooms and Truffles, imprisoned in a pastry cage with a Sauce of Wild Rowan Berries and a Plume of French Bar-le-Duc. Accompanied with Black Potatoes from the Ardennes and Bundles of Vegetables foraged fresh from my garden.

Either that or a cheese and pickle sarnie.
 
Patatas bravas , washed down with 33cls of Alhambra reserva , whilst in the village of El Palmar , overlooking Lake Albufera.
32 degrees , and a boat trip booked with the grandkids in half hour.
