As a thirteen year old schoolkid in north west London, Higgins(QPR scout at the time) came to our school to spot talent,my hopes were up as i captained the school side and played for the borough(Barnet) but it was not to be and i never did get that trial at Loftus road.
The lads he did pick out were not the best players but mostly small lads.......!
Court reports and newspapers has his age listed as 65...... totally incorrect more like 75+
