Saturday 2nd:

Gary Megson, 61
Classy midfielder who made just 4 appearances at the end of his career; better known as a manager

Sunday 3rd:

Steve McClaren, 59
Rubbish midfielder who helped City into non-league football; better known as a rubbish manager

Alex Woodyard, 27
Classy midfielder who helped City back out of non-league football; scored two Football League goals for the Imps, both in the same game

Clive Evans....a few years later, I got to see him play again on my village playing field in Wales! He was then turning out for Caernarfon Town and the neighbouring village team had drawn them in Welsh Cup.
As their school pitch was too small for an FAW cup tie, it got switched to our village playing field. It was even live on S4C...
Weird walking just around the corner and then seeing Clive Evans run out !
