Literally the last kick of the game and Stevenage grab a point 🤬 and push us down to 8th but at least we are all on the same games played now.
 
Mildly annoying equaliser for Stevenage but the important thing is they failed to win and look miles off on recent form.

Oxford for me have a better run in than us, but of course aren't in great form and we have that 6 pointer at theirs. Blackpool quietly ticking over.

I really think it's between us, Oxford and Blackpool now.

nothing decided. other than there will be plenty of twists. and the favourites for sixth will change each week. still quite amazing that we are one of those teams involved.
 
Just to reiterate, Stevenage have been showing relegation form for the last two months plus:

P11 W2 D4 L5 F9 A13 Pts10

PPG of 0.90, which equates to 42 points over the course of a full season.

If they can turn that around immediately and find the automatic promotion form they need, then they will have deserved a play-off place.

Given their next four games (Bolton, Charlton, Exeter, Barnsley), that seems unlikely.

Perhaps world class coaching is not enough.
 
Bad result for Derby they had the chance to cement 2nd place but instead got beat and with Blackpool and Pompey coming up they have given Bolton the chance of automatic promotion
 
Over the last 5 games we have picked up,

10 points on Stevenage
7 points on Oxford
6 points on Blackpool & Orient
5 points on Barnsley

But we need to keep it up if we are going to finish in the play-off places.

We do. It’s going to be fun trying. If we don’t manage it don’t worry, we’ll be in a great position to compete next season

And over the last 10 games we have picked up

16 points on Stevenage
13 points on Oxford
12 points on Blackpool
10 points on Leyton Orient

We have also had about a 20/25 goal swing in the goal difference against these teams.

You can see why all the above teams fear us to take the last PO spot

A 1.6 ppg swing on Stevenage is astounding. The others, given the lowest is the 1 ppg on Orient aren't far behind.
