League One Match Thread (06/04/24)

Oxford 3-0 up now, theyve been chipping away at our goal difference advantage the last couple of weeks. Still have an advantage of 9 goals, but if they keep winning by 3 or 4, that will go quickly.

Edit, now 4-0 up.

Oxford found their goal scoring touch just as we lose ours, bound to happen i suppose.
They have just played Port Vale (23rd at the time), Shrewsbury (18th), Fleetwood (23rd) and Burton (20th) in a row. Before that, they lost to Bolton, Portsmouth and Orient. Far from convincing.

oh, here we go, there should have been a red card. What a p****.

He also said before the game that his goalkeeper (Taye Ashby-Hammond) has 20 clean sheets this season.

He has 16.

Not like Evans to be economical with the facts/truth etc.

Norris and Jensen still leading with 18 each.

He also lies about budgets, if others hadn't already picked that up!

Wiggin fans not happy with their team or manager:

Two years ago, I was present at SB to see their fans smugly singing 'Here 'cause it's Wigan, you're only here 'cause it's Wigan' as they cheated their way to the L1 title (and some! £25m lost in two seasons).

I sincerely hope 617 are planning to return the same next week.
