Kop ticket situation.

SCC really want to see us broken whilst over at the deathtrap it's the land of Unicorns and Rainbows on Leppers Lane.
The below from Handsworth Blades Supporters club.

This has just been received and to keep our members up to date regarding the Kop restrictions.
Dear all.
Once again, thank you for your assistance in getting our messages out with regards to issues on the Kop. Taking advice from you guys, we have once again attempted to go down the line of ‘please help us and work with us’ rather than a threatening tone. However, we are now getting to a serious point with Sheffield Council talking about further sanctions. Of course, we have little chance of opening more seats or developing the Kop further whilst this issue persists. For clarity, our issue is over migration and overcrowding in certain areas of the Kop, rather than standing.
Below are the points we are looking to get across this week and we may also engage the local media to assist us. These are for the Swansea and Middlesbrough games initially before we take any further steps – once again, thanks for your assistance previously and going forward.
There will be enhanced ticket checking on the Kop for games going forward, we would request that supporters arrive in plenty of time to enable this process and to occupy the seat aligned with your season ticket
We are repositioning our CCTV cameras in an attempt to highlight those not occupying their seat and potentially pick out those who will not comply with ground regulations
The club is losing around £30,000 per game by not selling match tickets on the Kop (this is variable with ticket prices for varying for category of games)
The club has received further communication from Sheffield Council praising our efforts so far but concerned that we are not getting the correct results. Council officers together with representatives of the Sports Grounds Safety Authority have been in attendance in recent games as we have taken time to monitor if our previous efforts have been successful
The Council, as the certifying authority, could look to other enforcement alternatives.
As ever, please feel free to provide any feedback/comment as necessary.

The usual bunch of little Hitlers trying to justify their existence by making much of a small problem..

What are the "correct results"?

The cu nts can make it up as they go along.

This shit really is hard to believe. Especially at this time, with the club in this position.

And yet when Newcastle fans complained about Leppings Lane a few weeks ago, the bastards' response seemed to be to write off even the merest chance of there being a crowding issue at the Sty before even taking a look. Summat's not right here. Why would a council want to derail/ bankrupt it's own football club when they're possibly only weeks from confirming promotion to the top tier and the money that would bring to the city? The timing absolutely stinks as to the effect a closure could have on the pitch and off it regarding deterring a new owner.

If I was a multi billionaire I might not be so popular with many United fans because I'd drop the word Sheffield from the clubs name and just be called "United" instead.

I'd even try to build a new stadium outside the shithole

It would also be fun to hear the commentators when we're playing Man Utd

"Here come United"
"Oh intercepted by United"
"Here come United"
"Oh, intercepted by United"
"Here come United again"
"Oh, the United player knocked the ball out of play"
"United's throw"

Can't the club launch an investigation into the councils motives? What about freedom of information requests, that sort of thing.

You'd hope so SB although they way things are at the club right now, I doubt if they know if they're on their arse or their elbow.

Anyone could request a FOI from SCC........
All details re kop at BDTBL please......

Might be worth a stamp or email

Is anyone surprised?

Swillsboro' has no issues after the recent game v Newcastle say the SCC and all aspects complied fully.
The differing approach to issues at the two grounds in beyond comprehension.

They's already wrote it off as unlikely before they even looked into the matter so do they think all the Geordies were just making it all up?

I've tried to find out more about the workings of the council when it comes down to this case and our own but it's an absolute maze. You've think you've be able to simply pull up the meeting minutes and decisions like every other issue they deal with but so far I haven't found anything noteable.
