Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce has confirmed that Jonathan Kodjia will undergo surgery on his injured ankle.

Pity. Any ankle injury is dodgy. Think he may have come back too soon. Hope they're more cautious next time. Think that's his season over.

I know he wanted to go but i do get the impression that The Ivory Coast pushed him to hard, especially when he had not played for a few weeks even after making a comeback.
