Just scored a cracking header for Wales v Slovakia and is playing really well. Just shows we aren’t playing to his strengths and don’t know how to use him.
TB "and stop pumping balls forward when he has his back to goal and hoping someone will get on them."
That's exactly what the Welsh team were doing fortunately they had James and Bale who knew exactly where to be for the knock downs

We are constantly pumping the ball forward .

I believe this is one of those myths which has been written so often on here it's now taken as fact. I dispute this assertion TB,
I'll concede we've banged more aimless long balls than I'd like, but it's certainly not "constant" and doesn't look (to me) as the main tactic, but more a fall back option that the players adopt when there's nothing else on.
I still believe that our current form is blighted by low confidence players, lack of off the ball movement, slow and cumbersome build up and general fear (of making a mistake).
Each to their own I guess.

That was the plan all along, hence the signing of a 6ft 4 striker, not that difficult to work out.Quite happy to concede the point Arthur as I have no statistics to prove it. However I do have the evidence of my own eyes and without labouring the point we do seem to be playing the long ball more often, but that is only my opinion, others may disagree.
