Leicester was better. A much better class of opponent - and we PASSED THE S6 lot going the other way. Ha ha ha!
Leicester was my next best day as a Blade - after the 7-3 massacre (in 1951).

Leicester for me for various reasons but Darlington comes a close second
Loved Leicester but Darlington was my first promotion after 4 relegations it’s hard to split em tbh

Been there done that myself pal. My Dad still had one over me though. In the days when fans watched games all togged up, he reckoned he attended a sell out game verses Arsenal at the Lane and when he got home he was wearing somebody else's tie. I always reckoned there must have been more to it than he let on

Had the Sheffield Star for our Prem double over the pigs. Stupidly gave them to Billy Tightshirt to frame and display in The Cricks when he had it.

I missed out on Leicester, but I was there at Darlo with the rest of the occupying army of Blades, to the right of the goal on the open end. Fabulous day from start to finish. I wish my kids could experience something like that.
