Former Miller's winger Julien Lamy is training with Paul Hurst's Grimsby Town.

Hope it all works out for the lad. He was so thrilled to be at Rotherham but didn't get many minutes on the pitch.

Good luck to him. He is a skillful player. Saw him playing full games for the Millers Reserves a couple of times. Good in possession, and has got an eye for goal, but needed to improve his all round game re winning the ball back, blocking counter-attacks, etc , as wide players are routinely expected to do in the modern game.

Grimsby lost 0-1 to Newport County today, and the Exiles played roughly the last hour with only ten men. Lamy came on as Grimsby sub after 63 minutes.

Tough task for Paul Hurst to get the Mariners out of the relegation zone.
