The US of A are a bunch of hypocrites, especially when you look at the fact they couldn’t give a monkeys about shooting children. That being said, I suspect in Joelinton’s case it’s because the conviction is not spent and he hasn’t even completed the minimum 12 months driving ban. Additionally, he is working, rather than sitting on a beach.
If I recall correctly, Joey Barton wasn’t allowed either because his convictions weren’t spent and because he was ‘working’ rather than pleasure.
