Joe Kinnear passed away yesterday. RIP Joe.
Trying to be respectful here but I thought he'd died years ago. Not the most popular of post Clough managers but he's still an ex red.

I posted yesterday that I met him once. I think it was a Friday night (could have been Saturday) and he was out on High Pavement with some other club people, looked in a hurry. I got the impression he was looking for some of his players, who were all getting pissed in Brass Monkey (IIRC)

We were great in that partial season he had, immediately after taking the job. All went south after that but we were terrible before he took over. RIP
