JET | Vital Football

JET

It was back in 2009 when he joined Blackpool in our Championship season when he made his first appearance for us on a Tuesday night against Derby and in the following few months I was quite impressed by his pace and how he read the game.
His loan spell from Arsenal was just until the new year and I was quite disappointed that he didn't remain for the whole season as was our manager at the time Ian Holloway who thought he had a great future in the game.
That same season we took on loan another youngster this time from Everton , Seamus Coleman another talented youngster, but their careers have have taken totally different directions, while some just waste their chances others take them.

JET had the ability to become a very good footballer. He simply lost his way. Not sure if it was his upbringing and/or a huge chip on his shoulder over his early years. With us he clearly had great ability but seemed to hate discipline and respect for managers and wallowed into laziness. Too late now. He could have done so much better.
