He gets a good feeling from the club & it's staff.
He believes in the ethos he's sold.
He feels the role he'll get in the team is one which he'll thrive on playing.
He likes the area
He gets on with the other lads in the squad
He's looked after & made to feel he'll be treated well
etc. etc.
Don't get me wrong, I don't expect it to work everytime, but I think Grabban was the last player who we signed which other clubs wanted?
Regards Prem Class staff I was talking about Vrentroz & Modesto specifically, Neither are.
In the present climate players find it very difficult moving clubs. Unless it is within commuter distance of family they are living in digs with no one they know. They train in a bubble and only play with some on match days. Staff are even more difficult to know as socialising and team building is non existent.
How does he make a judgement on liking an area. All social activities are closed and non work related events out of bounds. Can’t go off with your new mates for a round of golf or a meal.
One may feel that a player like Taylor should feel settled in by now but he has only just found out that Joe Lolley comes from Birmingham and Andy Reid is Irish.
