Perhaps he was worth a punt but if he was demanding Italian coaches from the start then alarm bells should have been ringing as to whether he would be able to adapt.

He had a dodgy start (as did Johnstone) and then couldn’t get going again. Good luck to him, obviously had issues with being in a different country
