I think that says more about the pundits than the football. Pundits sit in their comfortable chairs and spit out their negative comments rather than focusing on the more entertaining aspects of a game. They always seem to be suggesting that they could have done a far better job in various situations. It's easy to say in a studio. The pundits who have played the game seem to forget all the mistakes they made. It's rarely as simple as they suggest. It's funny, but people class it as the best league in the world. However, if you were to tune in at half time you will see pundits talking about refereeing decisions, not skill. When you watch the Prem closely, you don't see much FOOTBALL entertainment. A lot of the time, the games are as dull as ditchwater.
The product is 22 players and a ball. The PL product has completely stopped being that. The PL product is more about Neville, Keane and Carragher rather than De Bruyne, Eriksen and Foden.

A crowd of 30000 at OT today for United v Villa in the WSL, shows how fast it is growing.I think that says more about the pundits than the football. But for pure entertainment value, the most entertaining games are found in the WSL.

I've just watched two WSL games and I'm halfway through the Chelsea game. Some brilliant football and some excellent goals. I'm in danger of being over-entertained.A crowd of 30000 at OT today for United v Villa in the WSL, shows how fast it is growing.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=_HFQFAbsy2ASomeone should put together a "Mistakes by Carragher" and a "Mistakes by Neville" highlight reel on youtube.
