It was mentioned on Twatter earlier that Jones is going to be a joint assistant manager with Jason Tindall. There's no confirmation of owt yet but that should come later with the press conference if it's true.

There's some youtube footage of Jones confirming he's a joint number 2. So as Mac says, time will tell if it works.

They've worked together before so wouldn't expect any issues.

It's a bit baffling though how some coaches don't appear to learn from being with managers previously ie Carver under Sir Bob or McClaren under Fergie.
