Well, I saw we declared an interest but when I checked his stats it said he plays for Pompey...

Looks the right sort of player and if he replicates Crawley form we are on a winner.

Heard we're being linked with him but anybody can edit Wiki. It's likely the Bolton fans who've done that because they don't think much of him and want him gone! Seen him play a couple of times and he seems a nuisance so not quite sure why they dislike him so much. And for a target man type of striker, he has a pretty decent scoring record across his career. Would much prefer Doyle to come in but this isn't a bad alternative option.

In all honesty I wasn't bothered by Proctor or Doyle tbh - if anything though Proctor might have been the better options as he's a more physical striker that perhaps we're lacking?

Not convinced Doyle will score any more than Chaplin and wouldn't do that different a job? But if Cookie can again get the best out of Doyle he SHOULD score goals!
