Difference: -23.01%

Personally I think that, without the one thing that unites us all, the figures are holding up well. A fair comparitor would be to see how our figures compare to other league one sides in totals and % down from last year by month.

Rather than get disparaged by the drop celebrate that 100k + pages were viewed without a single piece of football news. And that is mainly due to the work you and others do to keep people interested.

Jules, have you got the June figures for 2018 and 2019?

I'm not sure why those figures matter, but here they are:

June 2018: 365,992
June 2019: 274,774

Difference: -24.92%

Think a simpler method could be used to show the impact of covid-19 on Lincoln Vitals can be used:

I suppose there's not much interest at the moment because we only talk about things happening in our own club or league and currently little or nothing is happening and likely to happen for probably another month or so. Fair enough you don't want to digress into other leagues but maybe thats the only way to get more people involved, if only for the short term?

Of course things could always be better but to have a decrease of less than 25% is something to be quietly pleased about. I'm also a member of a horse racing forum and as soon as racing stopped turnover fell off a cliff to about 20% of the normal. More worringly it's still 25% down even though racing is in it's 3rd week since resuming. The efforts on here with the quizzes, and the efforts of Notty and others to promote chat in the off-topic forum are to me a sign of a site in a good place.

I knew my talking bollocks on here would eventually come in useful!

I'm waiting for figures showing the excess decrease over the summer months. Only then will we be able to understand the full impact of COVID on this forum.

Which is why I have been encouraging the use of the other forum, which is where this can be done...

True, but a lot of posters can't be arsed to go from one forum to another, I'm not against how you do things, merely offering an opinion. I'm a lazy git, I bookmark the forum I use.

To quote myself because I can't be arsed to type the same thing I typed a few weeks ago:

Slowly but surely, our "Open Terrace & Off-Topic" forum is getting busier:
https://forums.vitalfootball.co.uk/forums/open-terrace-off-topic.68/

One option is to actually post an off-topic thread on 100% Imps, then what I can do is move it to "Open Terrace & Off-Topic" and leave a permanent redirect, so that the thread title remains on 100% Imps, but when you click it, it takes you to that thread, but on that forum instead.

This is a football forum and there's no football. It stands to reason there will be a lot less to talk about.

It's actually restricted to Lincoln City/League 1, meaning there's even less to talk about, which is fair enough as that's how it's always been. There is some football to talk about but in the divisions above us. We have lots of great memories to talk about, but they are running dry now I suppose.

And the division below, which has a bearing on next season.
