If that’s all the players can cope with 10 days before the start of the season then that’s a worry. Not a criticism of the club (we’ll see on the 17th whether we are prepared enough), as I’m sure everyone’s in the same boat but raises concerns about injuries etc when we return

Local sides helping each other prepare for the restart is all I see it as. They’re second in the championship and we’re second bottom in the premier league, so as much as I wouldn’t like to admit it we’re fairly close so good opposition to test ourselves against. The games last season proved that too.
