That's a lot of goals in 12 games - 6 and a half a game... :grin:
 
We need to get our second wind. The chasing pack aare at our heels and we can't afford to stumble.

Still, it's a lot better than the season being over by this time and the absolute worst outcome is that we will be in the play-offs.

I know it feels like there on our heels but last 8 games only Gateshead have picked up more points than us. Last 6 we're 3rd after Gateshead & Guiseley, having gained 2 points on FG, 3 points on Tranmere & 5 more than D&R.
Incidentally York mid-table in last 8 but only lost once

We'll need 97 points according to this to beat Tranmere.

If they only drop 4 more points they will deserve to finish top. Even my prediction of 95 assumes that Tranmere and Forest Green are both at the top of their game over the remainder of the season, and do not suffer any surprise results. As of Tuesday the maximum points is: Lincoln 108, Tranmere 100, FGR 99, and Dagenham 97. Tranmere and FGR play each other too, so both of them cannot max out.
 
Tranmere at home to Aldershot and Dover, and away to Wrexham could easily be draws - especially given that they drew at home to Bromley and away at Torquay - losing more ground possibly, they have gained only one point from their last two games...

Of course, our best strategy is simply to win every game...
 
i've just gone through those games. I think we can reasonably expect to win at least 23 points out of the available 36. That would give us 95 points. In particular, I've got us down for a draw with FGR and to beat the Daggers.
 
I expect Stroud Rovers and the Daggers to fade, but Tranmere are a different kettle of haddock. They will be breathing down our necks for the remainder i reckon.
I originally forecast Gateshead game as P-day but think it might be Maidstone now.

We WILL do it though, no doubt !!!! :trophy:
