Final 7 games in April/May

After Southend away on easter Monday we have 7 games left - assuming Blackburn is rescheduled for mid/late April. Of those 7 games, 5 are at home and only 2 away. Given our patchy home form against our great away form, anyone else feel this could be a disadvantage if we are still hoping to make the play offs?

We`re unbeaten in our last seven home games (3 wins, 4 draws) which is pretty decent. Not sure that we are genuine play-off contenders but, you never know ! Surely, given the choice, SL would prefer five of the remaining seven games to be at home rather than away. Five from seven at home is an advantage.

Also we seem to up our game, when playing the big boys, and a few of those games are against the more fancied teams.

Given the team have appeared to generally play better when under less pressure IE away from home and getting results that are largely on paper the harder games .Perhaps we should all continue to play down our play off chances .Yes it is possible but we still need a incredibly good run in .One game at a time .Let's first get over the line and make relegation a impossibly .Then look at what we need to do and allow the players the chance to enjoy playing the likes of Rotherham and Blackburn who will be under pressure when we play them .

Away from home great support but I Wonder if the home crowd will get behind the team for long periods in a game?
