1. All-out attack in the home leg, for two reasons:

a) Exeter have conceded 40 goals in their 25 away games this season, which is a lot for a side chasing promotion; 35 of those came in their 23 league games, which is the worst away record in the top half of the table for goals conceded. Compare that record to Lincoln's: 29 in 27 away games, or 25 in 23 league games.

They are flaky when attacked - get after them!

b) Exeter are very strong at home, although they have had a lot of one-goal wins (9). We need to win the tie at Sincil Bank if we are going back to Wembley.

2. Keep Stockley out of the game

3. Keep the midfield very tight
