Ex-Imps Discussion Thread

Rob MAkepeace said on Tuesday night that he was hoping to have a 'Lincoln City Legend' as his co-commentator this Saturday - has anyone heard if whoever it is, is going to be there?

Ben Sault and Tyrell Waite both scored for Mickleover against Leiston in the Southern League Premier Division Central on Tuesday night.

Warning, the word Legend is a little over used. The ‘Imps Legend’Gavin Gordon was a decent Imps striker, appearing as a Co -commentator on BBC Lincs is a great tactic to persuade fans to actually attend a game so they don’t have to tune in.

John Finnegan did a one off game some time back. Maybe it was against Cheltenham which would make sense. I guess he's as much a legend as any of the others.
Is Bossie still playing for Boston? Definitely a legend, Stevenage connection, but he's a shy retiring type so probably not.
Rheady would be awesome, but he's probably got a shift at JCB.
Still miss Thommo.

It turns out it's going to be Toni McHamilton, the Development Captain for Lincoln City women. She's actually pretty good, but not yet in thd legend category!
It wasn't a crossed wire about the fact that Scott Dalton was being joined by Peter Shilton on his breakfast show was it?

That's disappointing - he definitely said he would be joined by a true LCFC legend but was waiting for confirmation on Wednesday - I guess the confirmation didn't come?
