The recommendation from the PL to the panel was made a few weeks back; the panel are due to make known their findings anytime in the next few months (no one seems quite sure when they will reach a conclusion).
But for what it's worth, they are not expecting a 12 point deduction, they are expecting possibly a big fine, and perhaps a 3-6 pts deduction as the new powers that be there (777) have done their due diligence and think that Covid pretty much allowed them to make the adjustments they did to stay within the FFP rules, despite the near £450 mill of losses they made.
But in any case, any sanction will come this season.
