Good luck finding anywhere to stay in Edinburgh in August anyway. So Hibs has a capacity of 20,400, Lucerne 17000……either way we ain’t getting many!

I stayed on the outskirts and used the train to get in and out of the placeYeah I was there last week for work and it is always mad in August due to the festival.
Alex Cropley, Des Bremner, John Burridge, Ulisees de la Cuz and of course Grant Holt are others who spring to mind having represented both these great clubs.Yeah I know mate, all good
We are rotten, be a miracle if we get past Luzern. Great tie for Hibs and great for John McGinn if it happens.

Was so much easier
According to the 5% rule (which I believe is the UEFA rule), Lucerne would be 850 and Hibs 1021 from what I've seen.So Hibs has a capacity of 20,400, Lucerne 17000……either way we ain’t getting many!
Looking at the Hibs squad and there's 2 ex villa academy boys. Jake Doyle-Hayes and Harry McKirdy. Somehow they've also got Adam Le Fondre as well who I assumed must have retired but has apparently been playing in Australia and India before joining Hibs this summer. The glamour of European competition eh.
After WW2 no Arabs would play Israel, EUFA in their wisdom accepted them. I wonder what would happen if they had to play them in the world cup.Hibs would be a good one to go, but doubt there will be much availability of tickets as it will be well over subscribed I’d have thought. Only worry is Hibs would be bang up for it, typical Scots hating the English and all so a potential banana skin but probably still better than going to some far flung part of Eastern Europe or Israel (which I find ridiculous are a member of UEFA)
I was wondering where Jake Doyle-Hayes ended up, there was a bit of excitement about him if I remember correctly then he just vanished.
6 of them if it’s one of their handsJust be grateful you didn't grow up with them. Some of them are normal but they could probably be counted on one hand.
A bit harsh there Deano . Just not the level that we now aspire to. Great to see these lads make a living out of the game, so many are just lost forever.Yeah, he came through at the same time as Cal O'Hare.
All the hype was around O'Hare but I always personally thought Doyle Hayes was a big player in the making...
.... History tells us they were actually both shit.
