Overall a decent England performance...Hart was much better, and Townsend hit the post with keeper beaten!

I really don't understand how all of a sudden Townsend is like the England star player? Saying that I don't understand how many of these guys get picked.

Something else I read is that Roy knows up to 19 of his world cup 23? They were saying last night that Wellbeck once fit will be on the plane as will players like Carrick? so basically if he these guys have terrible seasons they will still get picked?

Also I don't know if any of you guys read the Daily Telegraph but Henry Winter was saying that after talking with Roy he can say that Hart and Ben Foster are Roy's number 1 and 2 GKs for the world cup leaving it down to Forster and Ruddy to fight for the 3rd place? really Ben Foster who has been injured and not been in the england squad for ages? surely Ruddy must be number 2?
