I know some like a good documentary. Watched this the other night - what a cracker. I have watched it 3 times in the past few days - different breed these guys - and gals.

There's also another one on north face of the eiger which might be on i-player at the moment. The idea that you can sit on a verandah of a coffee shop and watch the drama unfold leaves me a little uneasy.
 
Cheers Bob. Best - and probably only - part of TV for me really now. These climbing things never fail to disappoint. Maybe because i am shit scared of heights - my palms sweat even when i watch this stuff.

A program like this will do that.

http://youtubedownload.altervista.org/

Obviously it's trial and error as to which program you prefer or find easiest to use but there's loads on the net.

just google video downloader or something similar.

Once you have a program to do this and convert to the required video format, then just copy to disc or drag to usb/flash drive

Brilliant that Taff. These people are mental. I'm happy doing 3,000 feet. Can't imagine doing 25,000.
 
iF YOU LIKE THE MOUNTAIN CLIMBING films then "Touching the Void." is outstanding true story and told in documentary style. Also North face is again brilliant about the Eiger. The everest series a few years back was brilliant and shows the struggles to climbs such heights.
