"I've been saying since October that Pardew had to go. Just not in here because I hardly post in here. It's full of clueless bairns talking bollocks based on Fifa Manager or whatever they play.
It was obvious to me back then that he was trying to force players into a system. That's why Ba f***ed off - his freedom to create and attack was being stifled. We could have f***ing murdered some teams but Pardew's over cautious containment play, lack of movement and deep defending actually hands the opposition the initiative to attack us. Last season our defence seemed to cope with it most of the time. This season the opposition have all worked out how to penetrate us. Pardew is either too arrogant or too thick to see that his system is fatally flawed, is predictable and gives the other team the confidence to attack in numbers. They don't even have to put much effort into defending. Under pressure? Simple, tap out for a corner - Newcastle are hardly going to score are they?
Our attacks are a joke. One, maybe two players in the box. All the opposition have to do is line up on the 18 yard line and stop us getting past. Crosses into the box are cut out, through balls intercepted and most of the time we pass across the box, then go backwards and then lost the ball trying to get back out of our half. We are so easy to intercept because our players are receiving passed balls stood still, not moving into the play, not keeping any momentum going. The simplest way to counter us is to double up on the full backs when they bring the ball forward, force them out wide to isolate them then wait for the inevitable mistake and exploit the space they've left by being out of position. The stupid f***ers haven't got the sense to try and cover the space and everyone's frantically back pedalling and in disarray.
Then if we do score we drop deeper and deeper trying to keep the lead. The other team can commit more players into their own attacks and because we are so deep they have acres of space to come at us.
At the moment I reckon I could drill a pub team to beat Newcastle, I really do. Maybe over 20 minutes anyway, after that the beer and tabs would kick in and they'd run rings round us"
Not from yesterday but April 2013. So if we all can see it wtf does TCC not learn from these experiences and manage ?
