So, we have managed to poach West Brom's newly-installed Head of Academy, to be Appleton's assistant. Looks a good appointment. The new dream team?
 
I think on commentary tonight one of them mentioned he would know the WBA players, but if I’ve read right he’s probably not even learned their names! Or what was he doing before West Brom academy?
 
As far as I can determine, this is a brief rundown of his career as an assistant manager/coach:

2000-2005 Tottenham Hotspur
Youth team coach.

May 2005 > Northampton Town
Reserve team coach.
Assistant manager to Colin Calderwood.
2005-2006: 2nd in League Two (promoted)
Resigned 30 May 2006.

2006-07: 4th in League One (lost in play-off semi-final)
