Will they? I suspect everyone out of contract in the summer will be released with immediate effect. We've not got the money to extend them, especially with none of them being key players. They'll all be released and replaced with youth team players to fill the holes in the squad. It could turn out an ideal solution if those kids make the step up, more assets for us to sell over the next year or so and believe me, we need every sellable asset we can get right now.

Didnt FIFA say the players that contracts expire will automatically be extended until the end of the season, whenever that is.

Unless FIFA are planning fund those extensions I’m not sure they’re in a position to enforce such measures. This club has zero income coming in and the owners I assume have zero income coming in themselves considering they operate in the casino/hotel business. Our staff are all furloughed and players wages deferred. We are simply in no position to be spending any capital for the foreseeable future.

Thats up to the clubs to sort the funding out but the option is there to automatically roll the contracts over so there will be no exodus of players leaving clubs short, funding permitting
