I think it's fair if he's angling for a Championship club and that hasn't quite come off yet, but I'd be amazed if he couldn't pick up a slightly more likely promotion chasing L1 club with a significantly larger wage if the right Championship move didn't come off.

If McGrandles could get a significant increase in wage, I'm sure Poole could command it. It feels subtly different to Roughan or someone where development is a more significant concern - whereas Poole would be an instant starter for nearly every team in this division, surely.
