Tsk tsk. The player was off the pitch QED and has to be invited back onto the pitch - it was you Noble John who mentioned off side.

Clever use of your edit button EB changed your original post where you suggested the goal should be disallowed as he was offside. When this was pointed out as incorrect your post was edited to suggest it should be disallowed because he had left the pitch and couldn't come back on without permission. As it was it was a good goal down to clever but sneaky play from the striker and dozy play from the keeper.

Not offside. But potentially ungentlemanly conduct if he was of the pitch hiding behind the post.

If I was reffing I would shout to the player 'come onto the pitch please' nice and loud to attract the keeper of his where abouts.

Having seen longer footage of the incident the player never actually left the pitch.
