Not meant in any way disrespectful to families or friends worried about this but it looks like Cardiff's record signing was on a plane that has crashed on it's way to him joining.

Aside from the horror and the sheer disbelief that this sort of thing can happen, in a footballing sense it is more than bad luck for a club battling relegation.

He's confirmed as being on a plane that has gone missing off radar last night. As he hasn't turned up anywhere yet he's feared dead.

The plane went missing just after 8pm last night and was due in Cardiff around 9. Be a miracle for a happy ending from here you'd think.

It seems that the Nantes fixture tomorrow has been postponed.
