Bristol Rovers (h): What 3 Things Do The Imps Need To Do To Win?

1 Play the way we have been so far. Honestly when you looked at our start to the season this game was probably the first that I thought that's one we need to make sure we get three points from as wins in the League prior to this coming Saturday might have been few and far between. I am delighted that the wins have already come but this is still one of those games where you'd expect the 3 points come 5pm. The way to do that is to continue playing in the manner we have been. They won't be able to cope with the quick passing and movement game that we have developed.

2. Run at the defenders. We saw last week how defenders in this league do not like it when attackers get the ball at their feet and run at them. Defenders will naturally back away and when you are running at speed backwards you are more likely to make that silly unco-ordinated tackle. We got two penalties doing this last week and it is clear that defenders just don't like that positive and direct running against them.

3. Don't allow a Rovers attacker to fall over in the penalty box. Last season's match was decided by the award of a penalty to them which was not one. We should have won the game last year, but sometimes all it needs is one contentious incident and you come out with nothing. I don't expect Rovers to be that attack minded but they'll get the occasional chance and might be inclined to just fall over if they recall last seasons match. Defend well and with caution

Win loads of free kicks around their box and get loads of corners. Very weak at the back from set pieces.

Re 3. Maybe Jonson Clarke-Harris has turned over a new leaf now he's a Peterborough United player?
