GOAL - Brighton 0-1 Man Citypublished at 17 mins

Kevin de Bruyne
That's why they call him the Belgian Duncan Ferguson.
Kyle Walker swings a cross in and Kevin de Bruyne stoops and throws himself at the ball to meet the cross with a sensational header that flies into the top corner.
Kovacic lays the ball off to Alvarez who lets fly with a rocket but it goes wide of Steele's goal.
The move happens with the fan soundtrack of 'City, City, best in the land and all the world' echoing from the visiting section.
Everyone in the mood tonight, it seems.
Kevin De Bruyne is so often the man for the big occasion but it’s not often we see him make such a big impact with a header.
But what a magnificent way to set out our stall and lay down an early marker after what had been a positive start from Brighton.
A word too for Kyle Walker’s superb cross.
It begged to be finished in style and – as so often – KDB answered the call with what was, remarkably, his first ever headed Premier League goal.
The City fans in great voice to my right and with good reason.
So far, so good.
Free kick a bit fortunate - the deflection adding to the luck…….but I will take it after all the garbage non awards of clear fouls we have suffered from before
