<p>Was a bit of fun this evening.During the build up, there was mention of a shortage of English striking talent in the Premier League. The same could be said all through the team.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>On the plus side, our recruitment policy provides for defensive cover in the shape of Saylor with Williamson as back up. We can also provide some fantastic resource in &nbsp;midfield with Perch.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Although we have much &quot;home grown&quot; talent from overseas, Abeid, Vuckic, Inman etc as well as other parts of the UK, Ferguson, Dummet etc, with Bigiramana yet to choose between Burundi and England, it is nice to know that &nbsp;England's strike force is in safe hands at Newcastle with Campbell and Sammy set to become the pride of England's future.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
 
According to 'The Mirror', we're looking to sell Perch, to make way for another French midfielder.

The local rags say a defender and striker only. Silly season again.
 
Sell Perch? That leaves us with Saylor as the only English player who is a first team regular, apart from Williamson and errrrr .............................
 
I guess that leaves the NUFC hordes to start singing "Gosling for England".
