More Success At Bradford?
Another away game, Pompey have got to be confident going to Bradford, right?
When you’re unbeaten on your travels and top of League One, why wouldn’t you be confident? Ok, Bradford have struggled somewhat this season, but, as always, we absolutely can’t expect to rock up at Valley Parade and be assured of collecting the points, even a point.
However, I’m not going to lie, I’ll be disappointed, dare I say surprised, if the Blues aren’t able to return from Yorkshire with a share of the points, at least.
Fratton Park hasn’t been the fortress we would have hoped with our away form most definitely the reason we’re topping League One. I’d very much hope come 5pm this evening we’ll have retained our place at the top of the pyramid with the two point advantage – at least – still intact.
So, do I expect a Pompey win at Bradford? Well, as ever, I’ll say I wouldn’t. But why shouldn’t we be able to return to the south coast with something? Ideally it’ll be all three points, so my Birthday evening – after working all day – can be enjoyed toasting another Blues win, which often seem to happen on this day...
