A new name in the National League this season, Boreham Wood have set out to retain the vast majority of their promotion-winning squad. Star striker Lee Angol has re-signed for the club after his 32 goals fired the club to a play-off promotion in May. They have retained the experienced Ricky Shakes and added last season's championship-winning captain Charlie MacDonald from Barnet. Former Arsenal star Allinson knows a thing or two about winning, but keeping his side in the National League this season may well prove his biggest achievement in football.
