Blades players weekly pay.

Take a look at the Stars list of players weekly wages.Brewster tops the list at £35,000. No wonder there's no money in the pot.!
Although it sounds a lot for us, £35k is really towards the bottom of the range of PL salaries. So, now the question. Which idiot manager bought him..?

Lets hope we can rebuild him into a 35K a week player. Look what happened to Steve Austin! "Pass me the Scalpal Nurse."

Perhaps he,d be shit hot if he wore an old pair of "Stylo Matchmakers" that George Best used to advertise on the gogglebox in the 60s? Drastic times require drastic measures!

I don’t want to dampen everybody’s righteous indignation - but no one except the players’ agents, the players and one or two people in the club, actually know these figures. Players’ contracts are so complex that “so much a week” is a gross over simplification and fairly meaningless. Unless someone has hacked into the system (a crime) and then published such info (another crime), or odd figures have been released within the club to discover where “leaks” are coming from, they are all guesses.
However, we can all agree that they are paid ridiculous salaries but sadly, that is what football has become. Fans and owners demand success and media companies dangle the carrot.
“The beautiful game“ sold its soul many years ago and won’t ever get it back.

No one can blame any player for getting the best deal on offer - that's down to the way football operates as you say Biggles.

The difference is that some earn it and deserve it- and some definitely don't.

BTW -if they ever bought in a salary cap, say 10k a week per player, would any of them ever walk away?
Of course not - but when the new domestic football deal is priced at £6.7 billion a year for 270 games then there's plenty to share around.
