Blackpool v Nottingham Forest FA Cup Replay

It was approaching announcement of the teams, and there was no thread, as everyone is too busy displaying their differences of view on the nuances of accountancy practice and the different sophisticated approaches we all have to understanding the technical aspects of runnig a football club according to Premier League rules. So here is a thread. There may be more interest in this now that we know it is on free TV (ITV4). Also, Forest's opponents on Saturday, Brentford, endured a tiring and heartbreaking 3-2 defeat to Wolves after extra time, to a controversial penalty and with Brentford having hit the post.
So: getting through the game, in 90 minutes, should help for what is now an even more significant fixture v Brentford than was thought.

Forest lost to Blackpool last year, and may be thought to be a bit lucky still to be in the competition. But why not have a midweek jaunt in a cold January to a depressed seaside resort that is so grim that both of its MPs are so mired in dodgy dealings that even the Conservatives have suspended the Whip. Forest need to show these that we are better, and to take some modicum of revenge for 2010 play- off semi.

I cannot be bothered to look up any weather or anything else, and am just putting this up here as a vehicle for anyone interested to comment.

Cold, I expect.

mangala starts, that's funny

Maybe his Stern John clause only applies to league games?

Maybe the PL have hinted we don't have to sell?

Maybe we're that incompetent that we forgot the reason why we had dropped him?

Who knows?

Or maybe 50 games means nothing and the new manager just doesn't rate him after all?

Maybe he's just deemed second string, and that's why he gets a run out in the cup games against lower league opposition.
Or maybe these are our only fit midfielders.

Did Stavros junior not recipricate during a drunken tryst or something?

Let it go shag, it will consume you.

Also, why are Forest wearing their third shirt "squid" kit (which has some pink that might clash with the tangerine of Blackpool) instead of their blue and white stripy kit? Not only does that not clash, but it is more appropriate for the seaside. Is it because the club shop has a 50% deal on the third shirt?
