Blackpool (a): What 3 Things Did We Learn?

1. We are in transition. It will take time for the new manager to put his spin on the team. No predictable subs aka the the big man did not come on to chase the game.

2. From the last result of 6-0 at home to a (narrow) 2-1 defeat shows improvement!

3. Cannot wait until the Jan transfer window now, Lets see who MApp brings in and/or recalls from loan. Can see a different team from the start of the season. Think the demographics of the squad will change drastically.

1. We have to switch on quite literally when the whistle blows, it may have been a new manager but the team didn't change, nor did the style of play, first 20 minutes we didn't look like we could defend, it was just too easy.
2. We need 2 strikers, Tyler Walker knows where the goal is but needs support up front, he can't be expected to win the ball forward with 3 players surrounding him, it comes back into midfield too easy. Payne is a good attacking midfielder but will not win many high balls, what he is good at is taking people on the floor with pace, he could play just behind 2 forwards effectively.
3. For all our possession passing it around the back four and defensive midfielders will not get us goals, the final ball into the box or out to the wingers was not good enough, it broke down before the possession counted. Despite the extra showing after going 2-0 down we never really looked like we would equalise.
