You could miss the Toll by going straight down A46 and then up A1 at Newark - less suitable for horse and carts.

Anyone thinking of parking in the Toys R Us Car park for the Barnsley and Burton games should be aware that it is no longer free to do so after 6pm. Sadly, you now have to pay no matter what time of day, or night, you park there.
