Well unless someone else saved pictures of me in my near death position (and has other terrible pictures of me on their computer, for which I'd pity them) then it must be me.

Re your last point the real Pledge would claim that he didn't ever expect to again in the future, especially as his near death experience and spinal cord injury left him unable to piss naturally, let alone get it up. He's also tell you that Viagra doesn't work.
