I’m talking to our forwards, the criminals of want, not the toiling masses. It’s time to end the age of cant, or Kant, or can’t, or Kent, or **** -goal-wise. As Vladimir Ilyich so correctly argued, one step forward, two steps back is not going to find the back of the net.

But being November 7 and, therefore, the anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution, I thought I’d enter into the spirit.

“Fly Higher, and Higher, and Higher! Our emblem is the Soviet Star, and every propeller is roaring, defending the USSR! YCL!”

You don’t hear that around Priestfield so much, these days.

Peace, Land, Bread and Democracy to you, and a quick kick up the Bolsheviks for our strikers.

Open your legs and run you buggers nothing is going to fall out (a shout i associate with my early years at the Gills and also not heard much at Priestfield anymore!)

Is that a direct quote from Lenin of the Rovers?
