I like him as a bloke and he loves the club, but time to let him go at the end of the season.

The problem is that the powers that be believe this bunch have done really well. A top two finish was the target so that's a failure. We only have any chance of the play offs because the rest of the teams are so far off the worst of the Premier league. We all know what we have been watching. Mostly mediocre players who don't always play to the best of their ability. Personally, I would not even bother trying to get into the big league but start to bed in the youngsters now. We cannot afford the type of player we need for PL and our better players will be stolen anyway.
